DESCRIPTION
ENEA is the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development. It is one of the largest scientific and technological state-owned Italian institutions (with about 3300 employees) with a specific mission in applied research activities, technology transfer and dissemination of innovation to companies, support to regional and national administration in developing programs and strategies.
ENEA AND RESOURCE EFFICIENCY
The “LCA & Ecodesign Laboratory” participating to this project has experience on methodologies and tools to foster eco innovation of products and services, especially in SMEs, focusing on Life Cycle Assessment and Ecodesign. It participates in several EU and national projects related to resource efficiency issues and recently in the Interrreg IVB project ACT CLEAN (Access to Technology and Know-how in Cleaner Production in Central Europe).
